B&H Airlines, initially founded as Air Bosnia, is the flag carrier of Bosnia and Herzegovina. At the end of 2003, Air Bosnia ceased operations. However, in May 2004 the airline was relaunched as 'B&H Airlines', starting operations with a pair of ATR 72 in 2005.
In late 2008, Turkish Airlines received 49% of B&H Airlines' stakes, and promised to provide the airline with two jet aircraft. However, in 2012 Turkish Airlines ended the joint venture, leaving B&H Airlines with just its two original airplanes.
During the following years, B&H Airlines has encountered a lot of problems, from a high debt to grounding of one or both of its airplanes.
As of May 2015, the airline only serves one route: Sarajevo-Banja Luka-Zürich.
